Bright and citrusy with a subtle earthiness, truly a different experience than its mature counterpart. Our cilantro microgreens have some husks on younger leaves that add a pop of coriander and unexpected delight. Excellent source of Vitamin E and K, just to name a few. Wonderful mixed with other micros and sprouts but will shine as a key player in many cuisines and sauces. If you like mature cilantro but haven't tried micro-cilantro, you are in for a treat. When using microgreens in warm dishes, add at the end of cooking to maximize nutritional benefits.
Note: One package yields approximately 1.5 cups of loosely packed cilantro.
Why Microgreens? BIG flavor and BIG nutrients. A small amount of micros goes a long way in adding flavor and complexity to your dishes. Additionally, nutritional research continues to highlight microgreens as a highly efficient source of antioxidants and other valuable nutrients, even more so than their full grown counterparts.
Sprouts vs Microgreens- Microgreens are slightly older and more developed than sprouts. Both are excellent sources of vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants.
