Our chickens are raised outdoors on fresh grass and fed certified organic grain, sourced from a small family mill outside of Cobleskill. By using a local organic mill we were able to have the grain ground every week which provided fresher feed with a higher nutrient density as once grain is ground the nutrients start oxidizing and losing quality.
