Filderkraut is a large, full season variety of (German heirloom) cabbage so beloved there is an annual festival devoted to it. The distinctively pointed heads weigh anywhere from 8-15lbs and are perfectly suited for sauerkraut, coleslaw and other shredded salads. The taste is mild and sweet.
